How do I play?

Tap groups of 3 or more tiles with the same pattern to clear them. The bigger the group, the more points you earn. Reach the target score before you run out of moves to complete the level.

Are there ads in Pattern Pop?

No. Pattern Pop is completely ad-free and always will be. No ads, no tracking, no data collection. You deserve an uninterrupted experience.

Does it work offline?

Yes — Pattern Pop is fully playable offline. No internet connection required. Play anywhere, anytime.

How many levels are there?

Pattern Pop launches with 100+ levels of increasing difficulty. More levels will be added in future updates at no extra cost.

What is the Tip Jar?

The Tip Jar is a completely optional way to support ongoing development. It unlocks nothing — it's simply a way to say thanks if you're enjoying the game. Every tip is deeply appreciated.

Will my progress transfer to a new iPhone?

If you restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or iTunes backup that includes Pattern Pop, your progress should carry over. Setting up as a new device won't transfer progress — something we're working to improve.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Please email support@tarnstudios.com with a description of what happened, your device model, and iOS version. Screenshots or screen recordings are incredibly helpful.

I'm stuck on a level. Any tips?

Look for large groups rather than small ones — a group of 6 scores much more than two groups of 3. Try clearing tiles from the bottom first to create chain reactions as new tiles fall in.

Blackout is a minimalist logic puzzle for iPhone. Start with a grid of light and dark tiles — your goal is simple: turn them all dark. But every tile you flip affects its neighbors too.

No timers. No noise. Just you, the grid, and the sequence waiting to be found.

Need a nudge? Hints are available as an optional purchase. Prefer a different look? Unlock one of three color themes — Neon, Ocean, or Sunset — to make the grid your own.

How do I play?

Tap any tile to flip it between light and dark — but every tile you tap also flips its immediate neighbors (above, below, left, right). Your goal is to turn every tile dark. Figure out the right sequence and the board goes black.

Are there ads in Blackout?

No. Blackout is completely ad-free and always will be. No ads, no tracking, no data collection. Just the puzzle.

Does it work offline?

Yes — Blackout is fully playable offline. No internet connection required. Play anywhere, anytime.

How many puzzles are there?

Blackout launches with a carefully curated set of puzzles that scale in difficulty. More will be added in future updates at no extra cost.

I'm stuck. Any tips?

Every Blackout puzzle has a solution — it's never random. Try working from one corner and tracking which tiles need to flip as you move across each row. Sometimes starting over with a fresh perspective is the fastest path through.

Is there a move counter or par score?

Yes — each puzzle tracks the number of moves you used. There's no penalty for using more, but finding the optimal solution is its own reward.

How do hints work?

Hints are an optional in-app purchase. When used, a hint highlights the next tile you should flip to make progress toward the solution. Hints don't solve the puzzle for you — they just give you a nudge in the right direction. They're there if you want them, and completely ignorable if you don't.

What are the color themes?

Blackout includes three optional color themes you can purchase to personalize your experience: Neon (high-contrast electric tones), Ocean (cool blues and teals), and Sunset (warm oranges and pinks). The default black-and-white theme is always free. Themes are a one-time purchase and never expire.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Tarn Studios games do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, device identifiers, or location data. Our games use no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Your game progress (levels completed, scores, star ratings) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.

In-App Purchases

Optional purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple and is never accessible to us. We do not receive or store any financial data.

Third-Party Services

Tarn Studios games do not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. We use no advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social SDKs of any kind.

Children's Privacy

Our games do not collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, our apps are safe for users of all ages.

Your Rights

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete.
